Conducted on campus in an intensive short-term format, these programmes enable participants to step away from daily routines and engage deeply with a rich, academically rigorous learning environment. For over four decades, XLRI has been a pioneer in designing and delivering short-duration Management Development Programmes (MDPs), earning a distinguished reputation among India’s leading business schools. These programmes are built to meet the evolving needs of today’s business professionals and strengthen management practices across organizations. The core objective of XLRI’s MDPs is to equip executives with cutting-edge tools, modern frameworks, and practical skills across key management domains, including Leadership, Communication, Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Strategy, Technology, AI, Information Systems, and Industrial Relations.

Conducted primarily at XLRI’s Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses, with select programs offered in major cities, the MDPs deliver a powerful, immersive learning experience that allows professionals to step away from routine and engage deeply with new ideas. Participants learn directly from distinguished XLRI faculty through interactive sessions, hands-on case studies, simulations, group exercises, and peer learning—ensuring immediate workplace applicability.

XLRI enhances the learning journey with a premium residential experience, offering air-conditioned single and twin-sharing accommodation, dedicated dining facilities, round-the-clock internet access, a high-speed Gigabit Ethernet network, advanced computer labs, a well-equipped gym, and access to one of India’s richest management libraries. Nomination Process

• Organizations and individuals can nominate participants by submitting the filled-in Nomination Form or applying online at least three weeks before the programme start date.
• Nominations may be sent via email to mdpoffice@xlri.ac.in or couriered to: XLRI Corporate Programmes, CH Area, Jamshedpur – 831001.
• Seats can also be reserved by submitting the online nomination form available on the XLRI website.

Programme Fee & Accommodation

• The Non-Residential fee includes the training kit, course material, tea/snacks, and lunch.

• Residential participants incur additional accommodation charges:
  • Single occupancy: ₹4,000 + GST per day (per participant)
  • Twin sharing: ₹2,400 + GST per day (per participant)
  • Charges include all meals
• Fees can be paid via NEFT/RTGS or Demand Draft in favour of “XLRI Leadership Education and Development.”
• Payment of the full programme fee must be completed before the commencement of the programme.
  
  

Reporting & Schedule

• Participants are required to report by 9:00 AM on Day 1 for registration.
• Sessions run from 9:30 AM on the first day to 5:30 PM on the last day.
• Residential accommodation is available from one day prior to the programme start date until 12:00 noon on the day after the programme concludes.
• Participants are advised to plan travel accordingly.

Cancellations & Programme Changes

• Cancellation of nominations must reach the Corporate Programmes Office at least two weeks before the programme start date.
• Cancellations received after this deadline will attract a 100% cancellation charge of the nomination fee.
• XLRI will not be responsible for any travel-related cancellations or ticket charges.
• In the event of unforeseen postponement or cancellation of a programme by XLRI, sponsoring organizations will be informed at least 10 days in advance of the scheduled start date.
